Sometimes things happen out of our control and it just plain stinks. Like bad weather…but rain wasn’t go to ruin Ike & Kelly’s big day! We had a lot of plans for outdoor photos since we weren’t able to be at the church until time for the ceremony. Kelly got ready with her girls and then we headed to a home Ike’s parent’s own (where we did some of their engagements) for the first look and all the pre-ceremony photos. Just when it was time for Ike and Kelly to see one another, the rain came. And it poured. We did their first look inside and when it slacked off a bit, we went outside for some nice outdoor photos. Until it rained again. The awesome things was that Kelly didn’t care! We just snapped really fast and ran back inside! It didn’t look like it was stopping anytime soon, so it was time for a new game plan. We quickly decided to head back to the condo downtown where we started. Luckily, it wasn’t raining down there so we went about our normal schedule and had fun with their families and wedding party!
They were surrounded by amazing friend and family all day and nothing mattered except that Ike & Kelly were getting married. I love it when everyone involved just cares about the end result! Thankfully, I had my amazing friend, Dianne, shooting with me again! She always helps me think fast and move quickly! Rain or no rain, Ike & Kelly’s day was beautiful and I’m so glad I got to be a part!
Kelly, you’re gorgeous!
I love his expression when he saw her!
We decided to embrace the rain and shoot a few more!
When we got downtown, Dianne and I split up to move faster! Awesome props to her for all her groomsmen shots! Thanks Dianne! 🙂
I was really excited to be able to play with Ike & Kelly in the condo since we originally hadn’t plan to do portraits there! Why not jump on the bed?!?
Love these “behind the scenes” shots Dianne got for me while I was up front waiting on the precessional to begin!
