Rain couldn’t stop these two from having the perfect day! Storms rolled through all night before Matt & Ann’s wedding, but knowing Ann, I knew she would stay calm. Then I woke up that morning to find a message from her that she had sent at 4am! She was worried! However, by the time I got to the church that morning, she was as expected…totally relaxed and calm. She decided that rain wasn’t going to ruin the day she married her best friend.
To our surprise, the rain stopped several times so we were able to shoot some outdoors. For a natural light photographer, this is always a plus! This was the first time I’ve ever shot a wedding in my husband’s hometown of Marion and I never realized there were such cute houses in the area that make for great photos!
Matt & Ann are so sweet and completely head over heels for each other! I knew it from the moment she contacted me once they were engaged, I was able to witness it during their engagements, and we were all blessed to watch them on their wedding day. They truly are made for each other!
I loved how big Ann was smiling when the doors opened!
